Hey Bocce Ballers,

Important note about the schedule, next week is Cinco de Mayo so naturally Jose McIntyre’s is busier than normal. They’re going to have Toucher and Rich from radio 98.5 there and also Corona is having a promo where they’re giving away prizes. So we’re moving our schedule back 30 minutes to accommodate everything. Matches will be at 7:00, 7:45 and 8:30 for May 5th only.

The website has been updated. The standings and pictures from last night are now available.

Only 2 undefeated teams remain but the Paul Revere League is still very tight. In the Sam Adams League it’s still anyone’s game. 5 teams have identical 2 – 2 records.

Very poor showing for the Palliny Awards last night as we didn’t raise a single quarter. Not one vote was handed in. So I’m putting my money where my mouth in. I donated $10.25 to the cause last night and now have the lead in “Mr. Cocktail”, “Playa Male” & “MVP Male” I am hoping someone beats me in all categories by a ton. Please remember that everything raised goes towards The Home for Little Wanderers. I’m hoping that we’ll be able to raise $500 for them. A sneak peak at another prize, the individuals who win “Playa Male” & “Playa Female” will receive a special Bocce In Boston pimp cup.

Prize for Playa

Lost and Found – 2 weeks ago a men’s black polo. Last night, a women’s blue button down.

Pirate Crawl – Just a reminder that you only have 1 DAY left to purchase your $25 discount tickets for the Pirate Crawl on May 22nd. On May 1st, the price will increase by $5. So get your tickets today! The event includes food, koozies, nametags, temporary tattoos and a scenic harbor cruise. Over a $35 value.

Currently the schedule hasn’t been finalized because we are waiting to see how many people sign up before picking the bars. We do have our favorites so you can probably guess the bars if you’ve been on a crawl with us in the past (can’t wait for Hong Kong to open up again whenever that is) The schedule we do have will look something like this.

2:30 – 3:30 – BAR #1
3:30 – 4:30 – BAR #2
5:00 – 6:30 – BOOZE CRUISE
6:30 – 7:30 – BAR #3
7:30 – Close – BAR #4

Week 3

The website has been updated. The standings and pictures from last night are now available.

Only 2 undefeated teams remain but plenty of teams are right on their trail. Everyone is still in this!

Fantastic job with the Palliny Awards last night. We had our biggest night by far! Please remember that everything raised goes towards The Home for Little Wanderers. I’m hoping that we’ll be able to raise $500 for them.

The Pirate Bar Crawl / Booze Cruise is on May 22nd. Exactly a month from today. I’d like to remind you that ticket prices go from $25 to $30 beginning on May 1st (we have a huge deposit due on the 1st for the ship). Tickets are going quickly and fewer than 40% are left. There are only a limited number of spots on the cruise and we don’t want you to miss out. I’d love to have Bocce on board! Remember, your $25 ticket includes the bar crawl, booze cruise, complimentary appetizers at the bars, a koozie, nametag and eligibility to win great prizes for the best pirate costume including Red Sox tickets! We will also now be including temporary tattoos as part of the package. Much more info at http://crawlinboston.com/pirate/

After week 2, only 4 undefeated teams remain. How long will that last?

We’ve set our fund-raising goal for $500 towards The Home for Little Wanderers. I’m expecting a big jump in Palliny votes next week. Sneak peak prize for Male and Female MVP winners: a championship belt.
